Vice President of the Management Board

Paweł Senderek started his professional career in the mid-1990s, with the Podhale waterworks and the Association of Municipalities of the Upper Raba River Basin and Kraków, where he took up the position of manager of the investment department. He was responsible for the implementation of a large-scale investment programme aimed at improving the water quality of the catchment area of the Raba from its sources to the dam in Dobczyce, as well as protecting the primary water reservoir for over one million inhabitants of Kraków and neighbouring municipalities.

Associated with the Wodociągi Miasta Kraków S.A. since 1999. He began his work at the Company as a manager of the bids and contracts department, and subsequently gained experience holding positions such as deputy director for investments and European funds and technical director. In 2004, the Management Board of Wodociągi Miata Kraków S.A. decided to establish an independent commercial proxy for Pawel Senderk, which he was exercising until he became vice-president of the Management Board, as a result of a competition won in 2017.

Paweł Senderek is a graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Cracow University of Technology. He continued his education during postgraduate studies in the various areas of knowledge, including: Water Supply and Wastewater Neutralisation at Cracow University of Technology, Information Security Management at the Cracow University of Economics, Contemporary Concepts of Business Management at the Krakow University of Economics, Process Management Methods and Techniques at the Krakow University of Economics. Furthermore he completed a course for candidates for members of supervisory boards of companies with the State Treasury's stake and municipal companies, as well as an MBA in Public Management, conducted by the Cracow Business School of the Cracow University of Economics. He is eligible to serve on supervisory boards.

During his thirty-year professional career, he has consolidated his knowledge and has acquired experience in the implementation of local government tasks, as well as in the management of municipal enterprises and the creation of relationships and cooperation between public entities and the market environment. He has practical skills in the areas of planning and effective implementation of complex, multi-discipline investment projects, organisation of technological processes, negotiation and resolution of business disputes. He has on several occasions represented entities in arbitration and mediation proceedings before the National Appeal Chamber and the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. He has been involved in the effective acquisition of funding from European funds and other external sources, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank. He obtained the necessary qualifications and has held the position of the Measure Authorising Officer for a number of major infrastructure projects for more than 20 years.

In 2021, Pawel Senderek was awarded the Honoris Gratia decoration by the Mayor of the City of Kraków for his special services to the city and its inhabitants; two years later, in accordance with the decision of the Drohobych City Council, he was honoured with a special medal for his charity and support of the citizens of this city. He is a member of the Society of Friends of Kraków History and Heritage and the Kraków Society of Friends of Fine Arts.
