On 18 July 2022, Kraków Water signed a contract with Instal Kraków S.A. for the project "Modernisation of power, heat and biogas management at the Płaszów Sewage Treatment Plant in Kraków, at ul. Kosiarzy 3”.

The task will be implemented with funding from the European Economic Area Mechanism under the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme. The project is planned to be completed by 17 January 2024. The implementation of the Project will contribute to improving energy efficiency.
