The first water supply network dates back to the 13th century, and the sewer network to the 14th century. In the first years of our Company's operations, i.e. in the early 20th century, the water supply system was only 81 km long, and the sewer system – 48 km. As time passed, the infrastructure was constantly expanded and the systems covered more and more regions of the city. As the system grew, the following were gradually built: water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pressure boosting stations and drinking water tanks.
